anti-Human Carbonic Anhydrase IX Antibody | anti-CA9 antibody
Anti-Human Carbonic Anhydrase IX [M75]
IHC (Immunohistochemistry)
(Immunohistochemical staining of human MCF-7 tumour cell spheroid sections using anti-CAIX antibody M75. Anti-CAIX staining of formaldehyde fixed paraffin embedded human MCF-7 tumour cell spheroid sections, at 40x magnification. The mouse IgG1-chimeric version of M75 (AAA72298) successfully detected CAIX.)
Describes how the MaTu antigen acts as a quasi-viral agent and the generation of monoclonal antibodies against it.
This reformatted mouse antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG2b format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
This antibody binds to human carbonic anhydrase IX, which reversibly hydrates carbon dioxide and participes in pH regulation. It is involved in control of cell proliferation and can contribute towards transformation. CA9 has recently been identified as a biomarker for cervical neoplasia (PubMed: 19670419).

Product Notes
The CA9 ca9 (Catalog #AAA72298) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Human Carbonic Anhydrase IX [M75] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Carbonic Anhydrase IX can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CA9 ca9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Carbonic Anhydrase IX, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
