100 uL lyophilized purified Ig buffered in PBS + 2.5% FBS + 0.05% NaN3.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized form stable at 4 degree C or -20 degree C. Reconstitute with 100ul of cold distilled water. After reconstitution, aliquot and freeze unused portions appropriate for single usage. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

The rabbit anti-salmonid immunoglobin (H+L) can be used to indirectly detect a generalized pathogen-specific increase in immunoglobulin level. This antibody recognizes the immunoglobin heavy and light chains found in Salmo, Oncorhynchus and Salvelinus species.This antibody can be used as a detection reagent for fish infection by either detecting a generalized increase in fish immunoglobulin level or by detecting specific antibody. For specific antibody detection, known infectious agents are used as the antigen in an ELISA assay, followed by samples of infected fish serum and then the anti-Salmonid Ig polyclonal antibody.
