Related Product Information for anti-CD57 antibody
CD57, also known as HNK1 or Leu7, is a sulphated trisaccharide (3-O-sulfoglucuronic acid beta1-3 Gal beta1-4 GlcNAc) attached to several glycoproteins, including CD56, myelin glycoprotein PO, and neural cell adhesion molecule L1, as well as on glycolipids and chondroitin sulphate proteoglycans in the nervous system. It serves as a NK cell marker and it is expressed on well differentiated prostate cancers and uveal and cutaneous melanoma. CD57+ T cells are implicated as suppressors of T-cell responses.

Product Notes

The CD57 b3gat1 (Catalog #AAA129346) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Hu CD57 PE-Cy7 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD57 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD57 b3gat1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD57, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
