Related Product Information for TFEB recombinant antibody
Transcription factor EB (TFEB) specifically recognizes and binds E-box sequences (3'-CANNTG-5'). Efficient DNA-binding requires dimerization with itself or with another MiT/TFE family member such as TFE3 or MITF. In association with TFE3, TFEB activates the expression of CD40L in T-cells, thereby playing a role in T-cell-dependent antibody responses in activated CD4+ T-cells and thymus-dependent humoral immunity. TFEB specifically recognizes and binds the CLEAR-box sequence (5'-GTCACGTGAC-3') present in the regulatory region of many lysosomal genes, leading to activate their expression; thus, TFEB plays a central role in expression of lysosomal genes. TFEB also specifically recognizes the gamma-E3 box, a subset of E-boxes, present in the heavy-chain immunoglobulin enhancer [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P19484].

Product Notes

The TFEB tfeb (Catalog #AAA213560) is a Recombinant Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti-TFEB Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody [BLR070G] reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TFEB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), IP (Immunoprecipitation), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TFEB tfeb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TFEB, Monoclonal Recombinant Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
