Mouse anti-Human EED Monoclonal Antibody | anti-EED antibody
EED antibody (mAb)(Clone 41D)
IHC (Immunohiostchemistry)
(EED mAb tested by Immunohistochemistry . EED detection by Immunohistochemistry. The analysis was performed using human tonsil paraffin section and the EED mAb.)
ChIP (Chromatin Immunoprecipitation)
(EED antibody (mAb) tested by ChIP-Seq. ChIP was performed using the ChIP-IT High Sensitivity Kit with chromatin from a human B cell lymphoma cell line (4.5 million cells) and 4 ul of antibody. ChIP DNA was sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq and 32 million sequence tags were mapped to identify EED binding sites. The image on the left shows EED binding across a 1.6 million bp region on chromosome 6. The image on the right shows EED binding at the STX16 start site.)
Background: EED (extraembryonic ectoderm) is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein complex PRC2. The PRC2 complex also contains EZH2 and SUZ12 and is recruited to Polycomb response elements and results in the methylation of histone H3 and lysine 27 and the silencing of gene expression. PRC2 initiates repression of the Hox genes during development and is involved in the maintenance of stem cell pluripotency. EED is a member of the superfamily of WD-40 repeat protein family and is required for PRC2-mediated H3K27 methylation. The PRC2 complex may also recruit platform DNMTs, thereby linking two systems of epigenetic repression.

Product Notes
The EED eed (Catalog #AAA59995) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EED antibody (mAb)(Clone 41D) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's EED can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ChIP (Chromatin immunoprecipitation), ChIP (Chromatin immunoprecipitation). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EED eed for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "EED, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
